What your day will look like
As Regional Communications Manager, you will be responsible for driving Thinkproject’s reputation, visibility, and thought leadership within your region. You will shape how our brand is perceived by external audiences, translating our global narrative into locally relevant stories that resonate with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Working closely with Product Marketing Managers (who lead messaging and product value storytelling) and Campaign Managers (who focus on demand generation), you will own the public-facing voice of Thinkproject in the region. Your work will build long-term brand recognition and trust while complementing global communications strategy with regional priorities. You’ll also closely engage with other global functions (product marketing, events, internal comms) and align closely with the local sales team, ensuring our messaging is deeply rooted in market insight and customer relevance.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Brand Awareness & Thought Leadership
- Drive brand awareness and recognition with regional target audiences.
- Translate the global brand narrative into regional relevance, incorporating local stories, customer evidence, and proof points.
- Ensure regional communications remain aligned with global guidelines and local priorities.
2. External Communication & Editorial Planning
- Lead all external communications across media, owned digital channels, and industry platforms in the region.
- Create and own the regional communication and editorial plan covering news, achievements, thought leadership, and knowledge content.
- Localize corporate narratives into regional languages and cultural contexts.
3. Owned Media & Social Presence
- Grow and engage audiences via owned organic channels.
- Launch and manage the regional newsletter, driving followership and engagement.
- Own the regional videocast/podcast series, from content planning to promotion.
4. Media, Influencers & Partnerships
- Identify and engage regional influencers to create amplification opportunities.
- Build partnerships with regional media and industry associations, securing coverage and speaking slots.
- Support speaker engagements at third-party conferences, including customer participation.
- Secure public awards and recognitions for Thinkproject and its customers.
5. Executive & Employee Advocacy
- Elevate the profiles of regional executives through social media, bylines, and media exposure.
- Collaborate with Internal Communications to deliver employee advocacy programs, guiding employees on leveraging LinkedIn and other channels.
6. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner with Product Marketing Managers to source content and amplify campaign themes.
- Align with Campaign Managers to ensure communication efforts support demand generation.
- Share best practices with global comms teams for consistency and knowledge exchange.
7. Performance Tracking & Innovation
- Regularly report on communications performance with data-driven insights.
- Use AI and productivity tools to enhance content creation and planning.
- Experiment with new formats and tactics to maximize engagement and visibility.
What you need to fulfill the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- Proven experience in communications, PR, or brand management, ideally in B2B or technology industries.
- Proven track record of successfully raising the profile and awareness of a B2B brand in DACH region, indicated by measurable outcomes
- Strong skills in storytelling, content creation, and media relations.
- Native German language proficiency, Fluency in English.
- Experience managing social media channels and digital communication campaigns.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Comfortable using AI tools and adopting new digital communication technologies.
