Job Description
Architectural work sounds boring? At zooplus, we have created a unique & lean process in which we employ collaborative crafting to deliver practical blueprints, guidelines, and training to support our product teams in reaching their goal. To make it even better, we are looking for you, an experienced Domain Architect who has footprints in business domains and cares about the important stuff.
Being part of the Enterprise Architecture Chapter, your mission is to create an environment in which the right architecture emerges to fulfill our business model and product vision. You will also work closely with our business stakeholders, POs, and product teams to transfer business requirements into flexible & sustainable solutions.
Your business domain:
Component based Front-End Platform to serve as customer touch points over multi-channels (web, app, CRM, etc.)
Unified & localized Content Management platform which enables end-to-end experimentation to drive autonomous, data-driven customer experiences
Customer experience personalization & optimization across touchpoints
Provision of accurate and actionable data on customer behavior, product interactions, and transactions to empower teams with insights that optimize business outcomes (tag management, customer profile data, etc.)
Provision of unified and consistent Admin Platform
Digital experience domain integration with other business-critical domains (Shopping, Source & Supply, Account Management, Order management, etc.)
Your responsibilities:
Develop overall product architecture vision that is also aligned with IT infrastructure
Assess as-is architecture and build target architecture in alignment with business & product strategy
Drive guidelines & policies to govern product development efforts
Ensure efficient interaction of product landscape
Ensure overall quality of the software architecture of my product area
Create architecture blueprints
Maintain overall state and foresee future needs in IT and technology
Help product teams in their daily work and maintain hands-on technical expertise

We are from 4 work locations & more than a handful of nationalities
Qualifications
5+ years of relevant working experience as software architect, ideally in e-commerce context
Excellent technical leadership skills
Excellent knowledge of architecture approaches/paradigms and technology alternatives
Excellent ability to understand the problem domain from both a business and technical perspective, and design solutions for it
Profound knowledge in the applied business domain
Profound organizational, communication, and conflict resolving skills
Demonstrated knowledge in driving projects and agile methodologies
Passionate about sharing with others
Knowledge of micro-frontends approach, React, UX design principles, CMS (e.g. Contentful), experimentation and customer data platforms (CDP)
Previous working experience in e-commerce is a plus
Very good English (spoken and written)
Additional Information
For this position, the applicable collective agreement is the Collective Agreement for Employees in the E-Commerce Sector. The gross annual salary for this full-time role (38.5 hours/week) ranges from €75,000 to €90,000, depending on qualifications and professional experience
