We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Project Management Teamlead to guide and empower our project management team in delivering outstanding results for our clients. As the backbone of our agency’s operations, you will oversee the seamless execution of marketing and social media projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction. This leadership role combines strategic oversight, team leadership, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

What you will do:

• Lead the Project Management Team: Oversee, mentor, and inspire a team of project managers to ensure flawless execution of marketing and social media initiatives
• Strategic Oversight: Develop and refine processes to optimize project workflows, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and high-quality deliverables
• Client Partnership: Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term relationships
• Resource Planning: Coordinate with internal teams (creative, social media, paid media, analytics) to allocate resources effectively and meet project deadlines.
• Operational Excellence: Identify and implement best practices to improve team performance, project timelines, and overall operational efficiency
• Risk Management: Proactively identify potential challenges and develop solutions to mitigate risks, ensuring smooth project delivery
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project progress, team performance, and key metrics to ensure continuous improvement
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and other team leads to align project strategies with overall agency goals
• Hands-On Leadership: Step in and actively support project work when needed—whether to cover for team members or to ensure project goals are met
• On-Site Engagement: Visit clients on-site frequently, building strong relationships and ensuring our presence and commitment are felt

Requirements

What we expect:

• Proven Leadership Experience: 5+ years in project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, ideally in a (marketing) agency environment
• Strong Organizational Skills: Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and deadlines
• Client-Centric Mindset: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage expectations and deliver outstanding results
• Marketing & Social Media Knowledge: Solid understanding of marketing and social media processes, platforms, and trends to effectively guide teams and clients
• Change Embracer: You thrive on tackling new challenges and are not looking for routine or predictability. Navigating change—especially in the age of AI—is your daily business
• AI Enthusiast: You have actively engaged with AI, and ideally, you have a real passion for leveraging AI tools and trends to drive innovation and efficiency

• People Person: You enjoy being in the office, love connecting with clients and colleagues on the phone, and don’t hide behind written communication
• Hands-On Approach: Willingness to step in and take charge when necessary—whether it’s mentoring, supporting, or covering for your team.
• Willingness to Travel: Ready to spend significant time on-site with clients to ensure strong partnerships and successful project outcomes
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and German.
• Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp) and marketing platforms
