PHP Engineer (f/m/x) – TZ/VZ

Our client is a privately-owned, international agency focusing on sports and sports betting offering an international marketing portfolio, a strong technological stack and innovative social gaming products that enable a focused approach on sports- loving target groups. The business areas also include media management, marketing consulting and the technical realization of data-driven products that integrate into the state-of-the-art tech ecosystem enabling user-centered and context-sensitive advertising.

Your Main Tasks:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain in-house applications
• Provide technical insight and support during the concept phase & technical documentation
• Integrate projects into the CI pipeline
• Work mostly on backend related services including:
• A REST API
• An ETL application
• Develop WordPress plugins and integrate sports data
• Generate dynamic widgets using EcmaScript 6 based on a WebPack based pipeline
• Write clean code and care about PHP notices & warnings

Your Qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years of experience in developing PHP applications
• Strong knowledge of:
• PHP 7
• Object-oriented programming
• MySQL
• Git
• Commitment to test-driven development , high-quality code, and continuous training
• DevOps experience is an advantage
• Preferably knowledge of Docker , Kubernetes , Jenkins
• Good knowledge of English as it is the business language within the team
