1. Role Description

Bitkern is looking for a Project Manager Software Development to lead the development of our digital core platforms: Nexus (internal monitoring dashboard), website, and customer portals. This hybrid role combines full-stack engineering with product ownership – you will define features, coordinate sprints, develop key components, and manage external developers to build scalable, elegant tools.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and implementation of our platforms

• Translate requirements into development plans and sprints

• Coordinate internal and external developers

• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Support

• Manage Jira, GitHub, or similar tools

• Lead testing, quality assurance, and release planning

• Analyze user feedback and drive continuous improvement

• Ensure scalability and security of the platforms

• Develop features for internal tools & dashboards

• Integrate external APIs (e.g., mining pools, blockchain explorers)

• Build an internal CRM & ticketing system

• Support deployment, testing, and CI/CD processes

• Provide technical leadership to external developers, including code reviews and documentation

3. Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience

• Experience with PHP, JavaScript, MySQL/MariaDB, MVC frameworks

• Experience with Docker, Git, and API integrations

• Project management experience with remote developers

• Fluent in German and English

• Bonus: experience in blockchain/crypto
