Research Associate (m/f/d) - R&D - part time & temporary

Octapharma specializes in the development of highly pure pharmaceuticals made of human blood plasma. As part of a family-owned enterprise, Octapharma in Vienna is not only the largest production site, but also a successful research location of the Octapharma Group. Since our company continues to grow, we are now hiring (temporary until 31.12.2025) with 14 h/week for our team:

Your new challenges which will inspire you:

• Performing literature research, conducting research of current scientific publications and studies on specific topic
• Summarizing and structuring findings in reports
• Supporting the evaluation and interpretation of experimental data
• Preparing scientific reports, presentations and internal documentation
• Assisting in the development of research methodologies, data collection and evaluation strategies
• Collaborating closely with scientists to support ongoing research projects

Your profile that will convince us:

• Completed university degree in life sciences (preferably biotechnology, biochemistry, technical chemistry or similar)
• Experience in academic research
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical terminology and drug development processes is a strong advantage
• Very good communication skills in English (both written and spoken) and German is beneficial
• Proficient knowledge of MS-Office, experience with data analysis software desirable
• Team player with a pro-active, positive attitude and solution-oriented personality
