We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Resident Engineer with deep expertise in Operational Technology (OT) and Cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will be embedded on-site with the client in Austria, acting as a technical liaison and trusted advisor to ensure the successful deployment, operation, and optimization of cybersecurity platforms such as Armis, Nozomi Networks, and Claroty.

Serve as the on-site technical expert for OT/Cybersecurity solutions

Lead deployment, configuration, and operationalization of platforms like Armis, Nozomi, and Claroty

Conduct health checks, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of deployed solutions

Collaborate with client teams to align cybersecurity strategies with business objectives

Provide hands-on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex issues

Maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and policy configurations

Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to client stakeholders

Stay updated on evolving OT threat landscapes and recommend proactive measures

5+ years of experience in OT/Cybersecurity engineering or consulting

Hands-on expertise with platforms such as Armis, Nozomi Networks, Claroty

Strong understanding of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, DNP3, etc.) and ICS/SCADA environments

Familiarity with network security, endpoint protection, and threat detection in OT environments

Experience with Linux systems, APIs, and scripting (Python, Bash) is a plus

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Fluent in English; German proficiency is a strong advantage

Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GICSP, Security+, CEH) are desirable
