You will work on developing the technical core of the country's leading logistics and postal service provider as part of a team of IT specialists. The IT solutions you help develop will ensure the provision of postal services to the Austrian population at all times, even critical ones. We meet the needs of our customers and continue to expand the services available to them with our innovative software solutions.

What you will work on

• You will be involved in all phases of the software engineering cycle including analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance, testing, deployment, maintenance, and estimation of existing and new software components and solutions
• You define and develop interfaces between individual components, data structures, user interfaces, and software modules
• You will be responsible for planning the work steps in coordination with the solution architect and thus ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency
• You will implement the technical requirements based on the defined software architecture and the use of suitable program libraries, frameworks, and tools
• You will be involved in coaching junior team members, assisting with code reviews, and ensuring compliance with our coding guidelines

What you bring with you

• Completed relevant IT education (HTL, FH or university)
• Several years of C#/.NET development knowledge and MS SQL knowledge and experience in web services (WCF, REST) & version controlling (GIT, TFS)
• Knowledge of Azure cloud development and handling cloud resources, Azure DevOps, particularly automated provision of Azure cloud services through Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. PowerShell, ARM/Bicep templates, Terraform) and Kubernetes
• Experience in unit testing and test automation
• Familiarity with agile methods such as Scrum and tools is an advantage
