Your tasks

  • Provide group-wide contracting and legal advice for (construction) projects across OMV’s divisions. This also includes managing any related dispute resolutions matters.
  • Legal advice on OMV procurement contracts, particularly for the Corporate and Fuels & Chemicals divisions, as well as transportation contracts and other commercial agreements.
  • Initiate and lead meetings as well as negotiations with partners and contractors.
  • Represent OMV’s legal interest’s vis a vis third parties and arrange representation before courts and authorities.
  • Drive, manage, and implement the Legal Department’s Legal Tech and AI initiatives and projects.
  • Cost-efficient management of external legal resources, in particular law firms and lawyers, with respect to the above topics.
  • Train and develop staff, deliver trainings on various legal topics, and contribute to building and maintaining a center of legal expertise.
  • Coordinate contract standardization and related know-how management across multiple jurisdictions.

Your profile

  • University degree / master diploma in Law and min. 7 years of relevant professional experiences as well as Bar Exam and work experience as attorney of min. 3 years.
  • Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas and Chemicals industry, combined with strong analytical capabilities, negotiation skills, and confident presentation abilities.
  • High level of self-responsibility paired with excellent teamwork, including the ability to prioritize effectively during periods of high workload.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong cross-organizational and cross-cultural relationships.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, and a strong interest in advanced Legal Tech solutions and the readiness to promote their adoption within OMV Group.

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement amounts to EUR 96.614,-- all-in . Depending on skills and specific experience, over-payment is possible.
