We’re looking for a talented Senior Frontend Engineer in Vienna to develop intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that empower our customers to monitor, debug, and optimize their systems at scale.

You’ll join a team operating within the global Dynatrace ecosystem—collaborating with 200+ frontend experts across the company while contributing to a focused product experience in the database observability domain.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on our team:

· You will build elegant, high-performance UI components in TypeScript, React, and Node.js in a modern, cloud-native environment.
· You will work within some of the most advanced frontend architectures, including micro frontends and microservices.
· You’ll help drive the product’s visual and interaction design, collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and product managers.
· You’ll be part of a passionate, collaborative team that values clean code, continuous delivery, and shared ownership.
· You’ll help shape database insights into intuitive, visual workflows that help our customers monitor, debug, and optimize database performance.

What will help you succeed

· 6+ years of experience building complex web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
· hands-on experience with React, including state management, hooks, and component-based architecture.
· Experience designing user-centric interfaces with a strong focus on UX and performance.
· Passion for writing well-tested, maintainable code (knowledge of Jest and Playwright is a plus).
· Agile mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams.
· Interest or background in database technologies and data visualization is a strong plus.
· Proficient English communication skills.

Compensation and Rewards

• We offer attractive compensation packages and company stocks with numerous benefits and advantages. 

• Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 60,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
