With the release of the Dynatrace AppEngine and Dynatrace Apps, we’ve introduced a vast range of possibilities for unleashing the power of our customers’ data by creating custom, compliant, and intelligent data-driven apps. Our mission is to ensure a delightfully hassle-free app development journey for Dynatrace Apps, and we’ve only just begun.

To help achieve this mission, we’ve created a multitude of content to aid the developer in learning, predominantly through our Dynatrace Developer website . This website functions as a Developer Portal, and is the central place for our developer learning journey.

Your team

You’ll be part of an international team called Platform Success, which is focused on enabling and helping drive the adoption of Dynatrace Platform – including frameworks, standards, tools, and libraries.

We’re looking for an Information Developer to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing our developer documentation to ensure a first-class onboarding and learning experience for our Dynatrace App developers. You’ll also help contribute to the planning and creation of new content and improvements, and maintain all contributions to our growing developer portal.

Your role

• Be our team’s technical writing lead, responsible for ensuring our contributions are handled in a timely manner, including the distribution of tech reviews.

• Help design and create tutorials and educational material for our developer audience.

• Immerse yourself in our Dynatrace platform, with technology including React, TypeScript, and observability data visualization.

• Be part of our cross-team content review process to ensure content quality and consistent style.

• Support internal contributors in adopting docs-as-code workflows (Markdown), and help manage content PRs to completion.

• Consult and help product managers and developer teams in writing content covering product features and developer use cases.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our developer portal, identifying gaps and opportunities for better enablement.

What will help you succeed

• 3+ years of dedicated experience in editorial and/or technical writing work for complex software products and systems.

• A good understanding of docs-as-code practices, including Markdown and Git-based workflows.

• Experience working with remote and international teams.

• Fluent in English, with excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

• Solid understanding and execution of writing principles, accessibility, and content guidelines.

• Approachable and empathetic personality.

• Experience in creating user and developer-centric software documentation.

• Previous developer experience and familiarity with GitHub / Bitbucket is a plus.

Compensation and Rewards

• We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.

• Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 60.000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
