As an AI Observability Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining an advanced observability platform for AI systems. This platform will provide comprehensive monitoring, diagnostics, and analytics to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our AI solutions.

We’re looking for a talented Senior Frontend Engineer, preferably in Vienna, to join our talented team in the development of intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that empower our customers to monitor, debug, and optimize their AI systems at scale.

You’ll join a tight-knit, fast-moving team operating within the global Dynatrace ecosystem—collaborating with 200+ frontend experts across the company while contributing to a focused product experience in the AI observability domain. 

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on our team:

You will build elegant, high-performance UI components in TypeScript, React, and Node.js in a modern, cloud-native environment.

You will work within some of the most advanced frontend architecture, including micro frontends and microservices.

You’ll help drive the product’s visual and interaction design, collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and product managers.

You’ll be part of a passionate, collaborative team that values clean code, continuous delivery, and shared ownership.

You’ll help shape database insights into intuitive, visual workflows that help our customers monitor, debug, and optimize database performance.

What will help you succeed

5+ years of experience building complex web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React, including state management, hooks, and component-based architecture.
• Passion for AI Technologies and core understanding of Python AI frameworks is a plus
• Experience designing user-centric interfaces with a strong focus on UX and performance.
• Proficient with core web technologies like HTML, CSS and Playwright 
• Agile mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Interest or background in database technologies and data visualization is a strong plus.
• Proficient English communication skills.

• We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages. 

• Please be aware that we offer only employment contracts, and we are considering a hybrid working setup (2/3 days per week in the office).

• Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 71,000.00 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
