We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to join our Service Sales and Operations team and act as the point of contact, leading and coordinating Valmet business towards designated customers in Austria and south part of Germany.
Preferred location for you to be based would beVienna, Austria. However, location in southern part of Germany can be considered.
Your Responsibilities
Your key priority is to act as the key point of contact for energy and pulp mill clients in in Austria and south part of Germany, ensuring customer satisfaction and high-quality service and cost competitive solutions, while also ensuring that the customer feedback is taken into Valmet’s offering development process.
Your tasks include:
- Selling improvement and maintenance projects, expert field services, workshop services, agreements and spare parts within Valmet scope, including all aspects of customer relationship and satisfaction management.
- Leading sales projects in co-operation with internal stakeholders.
- Support our customers by identifying their needs and responding quickly with the solutions to improve their processes and results.
- Develop and execute appropriate Valmet Sales Strategy.
- Develop sales, business, actions and marketing plans.
- Coordinating and leading mill team activities towards specific customers.
- Develop additional sales activities with operations.
Who are we looking for
We are looking for a person who is open and able and willing to work with different kinds of people. You also have a self-managed working style with the ability to set priorities to yourself and ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. You know how to create positive energy around you, and you show trust in others.
In Addition, you’ll need
- Strong technical background (Bachelor/ Master) in energy or pulp technologies.
- Between 5-7 years’ experience in various sales, project management or related positions.
- Strong understanding of Energy/Pulp Industry.
- Willingness to travel in Austria and southern part of Germany typically 30 to 60% depending on your location. Driving license is required.
- Experience in communication and commercial discussions.
- Awareness in contract law with hands-on experience negotiating complex project contracts.
- Strong experience of Customer Value Chain.
- High level of commitment, strong working capacity.
- Fluent spoken and written German and English, other languages are an asset.
