To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced software architect for our Vienna office to help design innovative IT solutions and translate our technical visions into sustainable system architectures.

Your tasks with us

• You conceptualize and develop the architecture for web- and cloud-based IoT applications in a security-relevant environment
• You define suitable frameworks and solution modules for frontend and backend
• You design and develop new features for modern web-based control centre applications on your own responsibility
• You define user stories in coordination with the product owner for the development team
• As an experienced developer, you enjoy sharing your experience with others
• With your expertise and solution-oriented mindset, you support project managers and our customers
• You feel comfortable in an agile environment/team

You should bring the following with you​

• Completed technical education in the field of computer science (FH/University)
• Several years of experience in frontend and backend development
• Knowledge of designing web and cloud architectures
• Structured way of working from brainstorming to successful implementation
• Expertise with modern web technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Websockets, etc.)
• Experience with at least one current front-end framework such as React or Angular
• Experience with modern micro service technologies (REST APIs, Java, Spring Boot/Quarkus/Micronaut/etc, Hibernate, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Knowledge in the development or connection of databases
• Expertise in the area of messaging middleware
• Experience with cloud infrastructures (Azure, Amazon, Google, etc.) an advantage
• Very good knowledge of German and English
