As a Transport Manager, you will support the daily coordination and monitoring of transport activities while working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and freight forwarders. You will assist in improving transport processes, tracking KPIs, and ensuring smooth transport operations. The role also involves supporting supplier communication, handling transport-related issues, and contributing to efficient logistics operations.
Job Description
- Support coordination and monitoring of transport operations
- Stay informed about transport markets and different transport modes
- Assist in improving internal transport processes and routines
- Support communication and coordination with logistics suppliers and freight forwarders
- Track and report transport KPIs and support improvement initiatives
- Assist with customs and documentation for international shipments
- Support ERP transport processes and data maintenance
- Handle transport-related inquiries, complaints, and escalations
- Assist with parcel and courier service coordination when required
- Support billing checks and transport-related administrative tasks
- Provide operational support for projects and event transports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or similar
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics or transport operations preferred
- Basic knowledge of international transport and customs processes
- Experience working with logistics providers or freight forwarders is an advantage
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop
- English business proficiency C1. Russian and German advantageous
