About you and this role
Are you passionate about shaping market strategies and driving innovation across complex value chains? Join us as a Value Chain Developer (VCD) and help lead our growth in the Electronics industry. This position can be located in Wiesbaden (Germany), Seneffe (Belgium) or Terneuzen (the Netherlands).
The Value Chain Developer (VCD) plays a pivotal role in shaping Dow’s growth strategy in the Electronics sector across Europe. This is a high-impact, strategic position focused on building deep value chain insights, influencing key stakeholders, and driving cross-regional collaboration. From early engagement to mass production, the VCD ensures Dow’s materials are specified and adopted across the value chain, contributing to long-term business success.
Responsibilities
- Build a comprehensive view of the European Electronics market with a global growth lens
- Define and execute a regional growth strategy aligned with global objectives
- Identify and map key stakeholders across complex value chains (OEMs, brand owners, contract manufacturers, etc.)
- Develop strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers
- Lead specification-in efforts and manage stakeholder engagement
- Build and manage a robust project pipeline across target segments
- Drive implementation from "Spec-in” to "Mass Production” and "Transplant”
- Deliver detailed project maps with value chain content and stakeholder alignment
- Act as a strategic focal point for EU-based initiatives, including cross-business platforms (e.g., Data Center)
- Coordinate with TS&D, KAMs, and regional sales to align on growth projects
- Support the development of a global center of excellence for value chain engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or strategic sales
- Proven experience in complex B2B value chains, preferably in Electronics or adjacent industries
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer decision-making processes
- Fluency in German and English is required; French and Turkish is a strong plus
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within Europe
