The Dupont® MOLYKOTE® business provides high-performance specialty lubricants enabling engineered solutions for the most demanding applications and environments, with focus in advanced markets including industrial and transportation. MOLYKOTE® Specialty Lubricants Brand includes broad range of lubricants technology like Greases, Pastes, Oils and Anti-Friction Coatings.

We are looking for an experienced Consultant role as a temporary part-time assignment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide expert consultancy for projects involving new anti-friction coating formulations, performance optimization, and advanced application development.

• Diagnose and resolve quality issues related to coating application processes, working closely with internal teams and customers.

• Participate directly in customer meetings and trials, offering hands-on technical guidance.

• Support the establishment and optimization of AFC application processes in field environments.

• Document key findings, best practices, and learnings to enhance internal technical knowledge and ensure continuity.

Qualification:

• Science degree (M.Sc. or PhD) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

• Required: Strong foundational knowledge in tribology and lubrication sciences.

• Solid experience in anti-friction coating development, including deep expertise in coating formulation, processing, curing technologies, and field application.

• Proven expert-level understanding of automotive markets and applications.

• Extensive experience providing direct customer technical support, including troubleshooting, trials, and application development.

• Fluency in English and German.

Duration: 3-6 months, part-time
