Hessisches Staatsballett is the joint dance company of the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden and Staatstheater Darmstadt. Based at Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, we are one of Germany’s leading professional dance companies, celebrated for artistic excellence, a diverse repertoire, and a commitment to both contemporary and modern dance.

Our company performs nationally and internationally, collaborating with world-renowned choreographers and artists. The repertoire includes works by Sharon Eyal, LEE\VAKULYA, Maciej Kuźmiński, Ohad Naharin, Nadav Zelner, Xie Xin, Damien Jalet, Imre and Marne van Opstal, and KOR’SIA, among others.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking talented, versatile, and dedicated dancers (m/w/d) for permanent and guest positions. Successful candidates will:

• Have at least three years of professional performance experience.

• Demonstrate strong classical ballet technique as well as advanced contemporary skills.

• Be comfortable with improvisation and exploring new choreographic approaches.

• Show artistic expression, stage presence, and adaptability.

• Work well in a collaborative environment and embrace continuous artistic growth.

• We value dancers who bring creativity, energy, and a passion for storytelling through movement.
