Do you want to do more than just manage accounts? Do you want to shape, think and build real customer relationships? As a Senior Account Manager (m/f/d) at AOE, you will take responsibility for our strategically most important customers, develop our partnerships further and contribute your own ideas to our sales strategy. Together with the management, you will further expand our account & partner management at Group level - with a real feel for people and potential.
Your job

Develop customer relationships
You look after our most important existing customers, understand their goals, needs and structures and develop new projects, workshops or service modules together with them -
Stakeholder management at eye level
Whether C-level, specialist department or project management: you design target-oriented meetings, recognize relevant information and take responsibility for concrete next steps and build in feedback loops - with the right instinct for every situation -
Mastering crises & designing solutions
In challenging situations, you remain calm, structured and solution-oriented. You bring customers, teams and internal roles together and ensure that everyone knows what needs to be done -
Shaping the customer experience & living the people's business
You are a sparring partner, moderator and source of inspiration - and actively contribute your ideas for the further development of customer products. You think economically and actively manage expectations in terms of budget and vision -
Building and anchoring partnerships
You identify suitable partners, establish new contacts and anchor them in our portfolio in a strategically sensible way
What you bring along
- Several years of experience in account management with complex customer structures and products requiring explanation in the software/IT project environment (classic & agile)
- The ability to quickly and confidently understand and familiarize yourself with a wide range of customer needs and industries
- Proven success in expanding customer relationships and partnerships
- Strong communication skills, initiative and a good feel for people as well as the right instinct in sensitive customer situations and experience in escalation management
- Confidence at C-level and the ability to link strategic issues with operational customer needs
- Understanding of business administration and confident handling of budget & contract issues
- German and English at a high, business fluent level
