Wholesale Credit Manager / Senior Analyst (m/w/d)
Your New Position
The Wholesale Credit Manager for the Wirtgen Group is responsible for managing and safeguarding the wholesale financing portfolio across dealers globally. This role ensures that dealer financing is provided within approved credit standards, supports and develops stable dealer operations, and protects the Wirtgen Group from unnecessary credit risk. The position interacts closely with Sales Regions, Channel, Controlling, and John Deere Financial (JDF) to ensure the effective and compliant management of the global wholesale credit process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the global wholesale credit portfolio across Wirtgen Group dealers in alignment with the respective credit policies.
- Conduct financial statement analysis of dealers, including liquidity, leverage, profitability, and cash flow evaluations.
- Evaluate dealer business models, market environments, and operational stability to determine creditworthiness.
- Prepare comprehensive credit assessments and recommendations for decision‑making.
- Monitor credit utilization, dealer performance, and early‑warning indicators.
- Coordinate with Sales Regions, Dealer Development, Controlling, and JDF credit teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance & Accounting, or a related field.
- Several years’ experience in credit management, credit analysis or equipment finance.
- Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills.
- Experience with dealer/distributor business models.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international environment.
- Fluent English; additional languages are plus.
