In our newly funded prestigious Marie-Curie Doctoral Network EU Project ELEVATE, we are filling 2x PhD student positions. You will work on the Frontier of neuromorphic computing and event-based vision and control in robotics, in a strong network of European academic and industrial partners.
School: School of Life Sciences and Facility Management

Your role
- R&D of new brain-inpsired algorithms
- Robotic implementation
- Publication and presentation of results
Your profile
- Background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Maths, Physics, Biotechnology, Cognitive science or a similar discipline
- Excellent programming and analytical skills
- Interest in brain-inspired computation and robotics
- Note the mobility criteria of MCDN project: you cannot have lived in Switzerland for more than 12 months in the last 3 years
