WinGD is looking for a
Product Manager, Local Product Center Korea
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the product's strategic plan for the local market, in alignment with the organization's overall objectives, focusing on meeting the unique needs and preferences of local customers.
- Collaborate with local sales and support teams to gather customer feedback, understand their requirements, and address their concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for local customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Monitor and analyse local market performance, sales data, and customer feedback to assess the product's performance and identify opportunities for improvement or expansion.
- Identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth within the local market.
- Prioritize product features and enhancements based on market demand, customer feedback, and business objectives.
- Prepare business cases to justify decisions on product configurations and features.
- Provide product knowledge support to Licensee management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers, to gather feedback, address concerns, and drive product improvements.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity within the product team to drive product excellence and customer satisfaction.
General Responsibilities:
- Follow safe work procedures, report unsafe conditions or incidents and be prepared to respond in the event of a workplace injury or emergency.
Education / Skills & Competences:
- Very good communication and coordination skills.
- Pro-active and self-driven.
- Structured approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work closely with people of different cultural backgrounds.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management preferably in marine engine business.
- Very good knowledge of marine engine technology.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a product portfolio and driving strategic initiatives.
- Excellent skills in summarising complex topics and presenting them in a clear and concise format
- Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.
- BSc or MSc in Engineering
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
