Job description
- You will be responsible for testing newly developed rubber compounds using special material testing machines and equipment (e.g. heat furnace, rheometer, dynamometer)
- You will be responsible for analysing test specimens in compliance with test instructions (according to DIN/ISO or ASTM standards (rubber industry) or internal standards). ASTM standards (rubber industry) or internal standards)
- You will be responsible for creating documentation and laboratory reports
- You will also be responsible for assessing rubber-metal compounds
- You will work closely with production and project engineering
- Collaboration in R&D projects rounds off your job profile
Requirements
- You have completed technical training, e.g. as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), cutting machine operator (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- You have experience in carrying out rheological and mechanical tests
- Ideally, you have already gained professional experience in a technical environment, ideally in the rubber/plastics industry
- A valid work permit and good written and spoken German are part of your profile, ideally also knowledge of English
- You are confident in using MS Office programmes and have an understanding of technology and physics
- You are characterised by your careful, independent, team-oriented and responsible way of working
- You are flexible, open-minded, ready to work and have a high level of quality awareness
