42 Wolfsburg is a higher education NGO/start-up educating up to 600 students to become cutting-edge techies and software engineers in a practice-based peer-learning environment. 42 Wolfsburg is based on the internationally successful concept of Ecole 42 which was founded 2013 in Paris and today trains 18‘000+ students in 54 schools all over the world. Tasks
As Event Manager, you will be part of the marketing team and ensure that our teams can deliver great event content for our students and partners.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Coordinating events on site incl. space bookings, calendaring, event announcements,
- Providing event support for all teams, incl. event project management, subcontractor coordination and hands-on event implementation,
- Leading Event Standardisation and Quality Management,
- Owning, planning and carrying out 1-2 main school events per year,
- Owning, planning and carrying out team events, such as offsites or fun activities,
- Support or co-host student intro sessions or networking events, helping students connect with each other and the wider community,
- Collaborate with relevant team members to support community management.
Requirements
- The right to live and work in Germany,
- Some experience in Event Management,
- Some flexibility in terms of working hours,
- Effective and charming communication skills in English and German,
- Positive attitude towards working with prospective students from all sorts of backgrounds,
- Entrepreneurial mindset and can do attitude; ownership of tasks and projects; balanced and patient character.
The position is a parental leave replacement. The contract will start on 01.07.2026 and will be limited to 1 year.
Candidates need to have a valid work permit for Germany and must be willing to work on-site.
