Job Description: Full-time Postdoctoral or PhD Position in (Applied) Econometrics (TV-L 13, 100%).

The position is offered by the Chair of Economic Statistics and Econometrics at the University of Wuppertal - Schumpeter School of Business and Economics. The Chair's research focuses on financial econometrics, time series and network analysis, and the application of modern machine learning methods.

Your profile:

• You have successfully completed a university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Economics (ideally with a focus on quantitative methods), Business Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Informatics, or in a closely related field; This may be complemented by (or nearing completion of) a PhD in one of these areas.
• You have a strong interest in pursuing further academic qualification (PhD or postdoctoral habilitation).
• You are proficient in German and English, both written and spoken.
