Wuppertal, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany JOB ID: J000691494The ADAS System Lead is a customer-facing role, requiring a deep technical understanding, along with the soft skills needed to interface with customers and other stakeholders. The ADAS System Leadensurescooperationwithinternalandexternaldevelopmentteamstosecuresystem deliverables.
Your role:
System owner (incl. process) for a customer project
Lead cross functional team of ADAS Feature Owners or comparable
Analyze requirements from customer and other stakeholders
Develop/Clarify requirements with stakeholders where necessary
Act as driver for analyzing effort and cost to realize change requests
Communicate system status by coordinating all internal and external stakeholders.
Make sure that the system is delivered to the customer with agreed scope timely and with required quality
Support system integration and testing activities
Link system deliveries with project timing
Compiling process-oriented metrics on stakeholder-level for the owned function
Frequent reporting to Aptiv and customer management
Responsible for compliance with Aptiv processes and methods
The role involves international and intercontinental travels multiple times a year
Your background:
MSc in electronics, telecommunication, robotics, software engineering, computer science, physics or equivalent
5 years or more work experience as systems engineer, product owner, function owner or equivalent
Proven leadership skills and judgement regarding systems, software, perception
Experience in the automotive and/or truck industry development (ISO26262, Regulations, etc.)
ASPICE experience
Experience working in an agile development environment
Experience in Polarion / Doors
Basic programming skills in Matlab, Python or C/C++
Understanding of product development process
Self-motivated, professional, positive attitude
Ability totake high levels of responsibility: making decisions, being accountable
Ability to function in a high pressure and sometimes ambiguous environment
Good presentation skills. Strong leadership as well as team player skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken) and ideally one more language
