Senior Business Analyst – Intercompany Pricing
The J&J MedTech Supply Chain organization, more specifically the Principal Operations COE is recruiting a Senior Business Analyst (SBA) to join the Global Intercompany Pricing Team (ICP). The purpose of this position is to support the ICP-related base business activities. Additionally, the SBA will ensure the robust delivery of products through regional distribution centers GMED & RDC by setting up and optimizing ICPs in accordance with the Global Tax, Plan, Deliver, and Product Management Teams.
Preferred locations for this role are Zuchwil (Switzerland), Cork (Ireland), Brussels (Belgium), and Guaynabo (Puerto Rico).
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
- Closely partner with the project members from different areas such as inventory, AGP, currency and hedging, tax, planning, master data and more.
- Utilizing ERP Systems JD Edwards, SAP, and S/4 HANA to conduct base business activities
- Supporting the year-end annual outbound/inbound/std. cost load of the distribution centers GMED & RDC
- Collaborating with the teams supporting related strategic initiatives such as LEGO, GET, Magellan and TranSCend to understand the end-to-end impacts, timelines and interdependencies.
- Closely working together with the team lead to provide support in analyzing data, detecting patterns, assessing logic and developing data workflows to process large amounts of data for testing and production environment
- Responsible for mapping out and documenting impacted supply chain flows to ensure adherence to the tax model in close collaboration with the tax planning group.
- Ensuring accurate calculation of intercompany prices for the intermediary steps in the different supply chain flows.
- Coordinating the timely loading of the calculated data including ICP and Standard Cost in the various ERP systems and build necessary checks to ensure flawless data set-up and go-live without delays in servicing customer orders
- Involved in global cross-sector initiatives which are aiming to streamline finance intercompany pricing processes across J&J.
- Ensuring required approvals are available for standard cost loads and changes, and support SOX audits & controls related to ICP setups of the project.
- Responsible for following all company guidelines related to health, safety and environmental practices as applicable.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor degree or equivalent preferably in business administration, finance, information systems or IT
- Fluent English, minimum C1
Required Attributes:
- Advanced experience in data analytics, dashboarding and reporting, preferably with Alteryx, Power BI and SQL. Alteryx is a big plus.
- Strong IT literacy with experience in SAP ERP Systems & Microsoft 365, SAP Hana is plus
- Finance experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical or life science industry
- Project experience as either project lead, product owner or core project team member is a major plus
- Consistent track record in cross-cultural business partnering
