Location: Canton Zurich (Hybrid work)

We are recruiting an Application Manager for an agile IT product team within the education sector. You will be responsible for the continuous technical development and stable operation of Higher Education System, helping to improve and streamline the digital student journey.

Experience as an Application Manager and Software Development is mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Further develop and enhance the Higher Education System, including interfaces to external systems.
• Plan, implement, and test releases and patches.
• Analyse stakeholder requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure reliable system operation and monitor application performance.
• Investigate and resolve incidents in close collaboration with ICT teams.
• Operate and further develop .NET and web applications on Microsoft IIS.
• Actively contribute to agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration.

Candidate profile

• Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, with several years of experience in application management.
• Strong technical skills in C#, .NET, MS SQL Server, and IIS; frontend experience with Angular is an advantage.
• Experience working in complex IT environments and with system integrations.
• Curious, structured, and solution-oriented approach to technical challenges.
• Confident communicator who works independently and collaboratively in agile teams.
• Fluent in German and English.
