Bank Accountant

Responsibility for the careful management of the bank's financial accounting / Accurate correct bookings of all business transactions / Responsible for the monthly and quarterly financial statements as well as the annual financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP and IFRS / Responsibility for booking all business transactions in accounts receivable and accounts payable or in the general ledger / Responsible for the production of the annual report / Risk-oriented responsibility for financial processes and internal controls / Support in the ongoing automation of financial processes and review of efficiency in the department / Contribute to the further development of the department, its tools and systems/ Ad hoc projects.

University studies in Accounting or Banking & Finance, or alternatively an apprenticeship and higher certificate in finance (e.g. HF) / Professional experience in a bank, in a trust or in a Big Four company / Sound professional experience in accounting / Strong knowledge of financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP and IFRS / High analytical ability / A hands-on and detail-conscious working style / A good level of customer focus ensuring the capability of working amicably with people of various nationalities as well as optimally serving the internal customer base which typically consists of managers on all levels of hierarchy / Ability to work reliably and independently under deadline pressure / Flair for digital tools/ Knowledge of accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Abacus, etc. / Confident in using MS Office, especially advanced in Excel / Strong communication skills / Fluency in German (mother tongue) and English.
