At Julius Baer, we celebrate and value the individual qualities you bring, enabling you to be impactful, to be entrepreneurial, to be empowered, and to create value beyond wealth. Let’s shape the future of wealth management together.
We are seeking a proactive and organised Business Manager to provide strategic and operational support within our IT organisation. In this central coordinating role, you will partner closely with IT leadership to drive transparency, efficiency, and alignment across key initiatives. From supporting workforce and resource planning to enabling smooth organisational change and internal communication, you will act as a trusted enabler of IT’s day-to-day operations and long-term direction, without leading projects directly. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for process and detail who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Operational & Strategic Support
Coordinate the collection, validation, and structuring of data from multiple sources to support IT planning, reporting, and decision-making
Maintain and regularly update central planning trackers including headcount, budget forecasts, and resource allocation models
Perform routine data quality reviews, identify inconsistencies, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant parties
Prepare summaries and analyses for leadership discussions, board updates, and steering committees
Organisational Effectiveness & Governance
Assist in developing briefing materials, position papers, and decision templates for senior IT leaders
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal workflows, governance practices, and operating models
Track progress against action plans arising from leadership decisions or organisational changes; ensure accountability and follow-through
Help standardise and document key IT processes and policies to strengthen operational clarity and compliance
Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
Support the creation and consolidation of high-quality presentations and reports for executive meetings, town halls, and governance forums
Assist in managing internal communication campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging, timely distribution, and alignment with broader IT goals
Facilitate coordination of global events such as workshops, strategy sessions, or innovation days (e.g., hackathons)
Manage and maintain central documentation repositories to ensure easy access to up-to-date reference materials
YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a technology or IT services environment
Solid understanding of financial concepts and IT controlling principles with the ability to conduct financial analysis, develop budgets, and optimize IT investments together with our IT Controlling unit
Familiarity with IT service delivery models, organisational structures, or enterprise technology environments is an advantage
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (data modelling, formulas) and PowerPoint (executive-level slide design and storytelling)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to adapt style for different audiences, from technical teams to senior executives
High attention to detail, structured way of working, and ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities efficiently
Collaborative mindset with the confidence to engage constructively across all levels of the organisation
Discreet, reliable, and capable of handling sensitive information appropriately
