As part of the Group Strategy Team, you will support the Group CEO and Executive Board in strategic matters and play a key role in shaping the company's future. Our teams responsibilities include defining the Group Strategy, managing the strategic cycle, and supporting the Group CEO and Executive Board on strategic projects.We integrate corporate strategy and business development into one cohesive team, focusing on strong execution. YOUR CHALLENGE
In this role, you will contribute to shaping the strategic direction of Julius Baer and driving business development across the Group. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help translate strategic ambition into clear priorities, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes.
You will:
Drive the development and implementation of the Group's long-term strategic direction, aligning strategic programmes across the organisation
Lead and contribute to high-visibility, Group-level strategic initiatives, providing analysis and recommendations to inform strategic decisions
Drive strategic intelligence through market, competitor, and internal analyses to inform decision-making and shape the corporate strategy process
Design and deliver strategic initiatives and projects from concept to implementation
Support the strategic cycle, including preparing for strategy offsites, full-year, and half-year results presentations
Collaborate with internal teams, including the Front, Finance, COO, Communications, to drive cross-unit projects and initiatives forward and ensure strong delivery and alignment
Develop high-quality strategic content for senior management and the CEO, including presentations, reports, and other key materials
YOUR PROFILE
Key qualifications:
A top tier University education, preferably focused on corporate
strategy, finance or structured problem solving3–6 years of experience at a leading strategy consultancy or an
in-house strategy or corporate development function, ideally in financial services
Essential skills:
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to simplify complexity for senior audiences
Strong problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking
Ability to drive smaller projects independently and collaborate
effectively across functionsDisciplined organization and topic/ project management skills
Personal characteristics:
Entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of ownership, initiative,
discipline, self-motivation and execution focusProven ability to work with others and generate impact in a team environment
Proficiency in English required; German is an advantage
