The successful candidate will operate as a consultant for our clients in the financial services industry.
YOUR CAPCO DAY
- Perform data quality control (QC) on remediation items across systems, ensuring alignment with business-as-usual (BAU) standards and regulatory requirements, such as AMLA and CDB.
- Extract and validate QC samples from remediation files, following defined sampling methodologies to ensure their accuracy and consistency.
- Report and document QC outcomes, including the classification of non-compliance, deviations, and data flaws against set standards.
- Present QC results to internal stakeholders and management with clear visualizations, highlighting key trends and actionable insights.
- Conduct flaw pattern analysis to pinpoint recurring issues and identify root causes.
- Develop actionable recommendations to improve the effectiveness and compliance of remediation activities.
- Oversee the end-to-end rework process for incorrectly remediated items by: tracking progress meticulously and ensuring timely resolutions.
YOUR CAPCO FIT
- 2-4 years of working experience in consulting and/or banking.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
- Understanding of regulatory standards (e.g., AMLA, CDB) and their operational implications.
- Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders across banking functions.
- Strong analytical mindset to assess data and identify discrepancies with precision.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint to create detailed reports, presentations, and tracking documents effectively.
- Comfortable presenting data-backed findings with clarity, tailoring communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adept at multitasking and handling time-sensitive projects in demanding environments.
- Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and German, any other language considered a plus.
