Group Performance Controller Asset Management

Analyzing and measuring the asset management's investment performance to gain deep insights into the company, product range, asset classes, and company’s business model over a specific period of time / Evaluating the effectiveness of fund investment strategies and comparing them with investment benchmarks or competitors / Providing a basis for decision-making for possible adjustments to investment portfolios / Supporting the annual budgeting process for various asset classes in the private market sector / Preparation of various reports to identify and track trends in operational performance, deviations from the operating budget, administrative fees, or significant changes in assets in their respective markets in order to provide senior management with insights for actionable change management / Monitoring and tracking compliance with all internal and external guidelines / Collaborating with all controlling teams and ensuring operational efficiency / Participating in cross-functional projects that enable data science-driven decisions / Continuously optimizing management information systems and ensuring data transparency / Ad hoc projects.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Banking and Finance, or Business Informatics / Extensive experience in a complex finance, controlling, or reporting role in the fund industry or in asset management at a bank or Big Four company / Analytical, detail-oriented personality with an independent, structured, and goal-oriented work style / Interest in smooth collaboration with colleagues or stakeholders / Interest in efficient work organization and adherence to fixed deadlines / Excellent organizational and communication skills as well as a strong service focus / High level of self-motivation and ability to work in a team / Committed personality with flexibility / IT skills and the ability to quickly grasp business and IT processes / Interest in programming and experience in working with databases or multidimensional cubes / Very good knowledge of MS Office and Excel / English and German.
