Head of Proposition & Business Development - Zurich Captives 80-100%

In this role as Head of Proposition & Business Development, you will lead the global strategy for proposition management and business development within Zurich Captives. You will drive innovation, build strong industry relationships, and help us deliver outstanding solutions for captive customers worldwide.

What you will do

• Lead the development, launch, and marketing of new Captive insurance solutions
• Drive global business growth, build lasting partnerships, and identify new opportunities
• Guide cross-functional teams and collaborate with industry experts
• Champion Zurich Captives at events, webinars, and through thought leadership
• Empower and develop talent through training and mentorship

What you will bring

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in commercial insurance underwriting of multinational programs, Captive (re-)insurance and/or multi-line or structured risk financing solutions (ART) business
• Significant prior experience (5+ years) in market-facing roles (e.g. market-facing underwriting, commercial client management, broking, risk consulting, etc. working in the international insurance market with solid relevant knowledge of the commercial insurance industry, industry and regulatory trends, corporate risk and risk management, insurance products and lines, the competitive environment and market dynamics
• Solid understanding of commercial insurance products and services provided by the ecosystem of market participants including insurance competitors, brokers, risk consultants, reinsurers, TPAs etc.
• Experience in customer and broker relationship management and successful navigation and closing complex risk deals
