Job Description:
HPE Aruba Networking is redefining the "IT Edge”. Creating new customer experiences by building intelligent spaces and digital workspaces. We are focused on campus, branch, mobility and the IoT to transform business models with the combined power of compute, context (AI/ML), control and secure connectivity.
We are looking for an extroverted, client-oriented and driven HPE Aruba Networking Presales Consultant for German speaking part of Switzerland who will generate leads and continue to expand opportunities.
In a typical day as a Presales Consultant, you would
- Gather and assess customer's technical needs
- Identifies site-specific parameters and constraints that impact the solution
- Understand the architecture of appropriate technical solutions
- Investigates and optimizes a solution’s fit to the requirements of an opportunity
- Maintains excellent communications with customers and partners, advancing opportunity through effective consultative selling to build customer as a trusted advisor
- Deliver customer and partner workshops for further understanding of issues and buy-in to HPE Aruba Networking proposals
- Provide leadership roles in peer education programs
- Drive and influence new RFP/RFI initiatives from the territories.
- Ensure HPE Aruba Networking innovation is driven into accounts with New Product Introduction
- Understand the roles and effectively direct other teams and resources within HPE and with partners globally
- Facilitate smooth transition from sales to implementation
- Contribute to the presales direction in Switzerland
- Built relationship to the key technical experts (e.g. Aruba Airheads) within our partners to maximize winning new business

If you show these fields of Education, Skills and Experience:
- Technical University or Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Typically > 2 years of job experience in technology (Pre-, or Post-sales).
- Technical and/or solution experience e.g. Security, AI, ML knowledge, wireless and firewall understanding, experience with network security (f. ex. RADIUS) and policy management
- Networker with very good communications skills across varying levels of customer management
- Able to immerse oneself quickly into the company to understand the company product roadmaps for multiple BU’s and so attain a deep knowledge the HPE Aruba Networking Legacy portfolio
- Good strategic and conceptual thinking skills; link company solutions with data business center needs to create customer business value
- Ability to leverage financial and accounting concepts as well as capital investment concepts when demonstrating a solution’s business value to customers
- Hands-on level skills with some of the technology e.g., building solutions with partner and clients
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
