Internal Auditor Private Banking (Compliance)

Delivering complex and challenging of risk-oriented compliance audit assignments in the areas of AML, MiFID II, suitability, and cross-border / The audit projects assigned in accordance with the annual plan follow the priorities of end-to-end planning, fieldwork, and reporting of compliance audit engagements and require attention to complex, judgmental business processes and decisions / Leading or participating in audits to identify significant issues affecting the business under review and operational processes / Ensuring findings related to AML, fraud, tax evasion, etc. / Based on the results, develop appropriate corrective measures to remedy the problems identified and oversee the elimination of these problems / Conducting special audits or ad hoc audit projects with focus on compliance alerts from customers / Working independently when you are in the lead, and also hold meetings with the managers involved / Participating in continuous monitoring and manage proactively relationships with key stakeholders / Contributing to change initiatives through active participation in working groups.

Bachelor's or Master’s / Post-graduate qualification completed, e.g. CPA, CIA, ACCA, CAMS / Sound work experience in public accounting, internal auditing, or first- or second-line compliance or business risk roles in banking / Sound experience in assessing compliance control frameworks / Knowledge of laws, regulations, and provisions relating to various forms of compliance in connection with investment advisory services / Proven ability to research, interpret and apply regulatory requirements / Ability to work in a team, handle complexity, prioritize multiple tasks effectively and work independently in non-routine situations and fast-paced environments / Excellent communication with stakeholders / German and English.
