You’ll rotate across multiple investment teams – such as Public Credit, Private Equity, Private Debt, Portfolio Steering, Corporate Development M&A – gaining hands-on experience across our investment value chain. From day one, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced investment professionals, contribute insights, and take ownership of impactful work.
You’ll also benefit from tailored training, mentoring, continuous feedback, and support toward the CFA designation, all within an environment that values collaboration, thoughtful analysis, and long-term performance.
This is more than a graduate programme – it’s your launchpad into the future of investing.
About the Role
As an Investment Analyst in the FMP, you’ll build a 360° view of investment management and contribute across the value chain. Your responsibilities will include:
- Rotating through 4-5 key investment functions (e.g. Public Credit, Private Equity, Private Debt, Portfolio Steering, Corporate Development M&A)
- Conducting financial market research and supporting strategic asset allocation
- Analysing portfolio performance, risk metrics, and macroeconomic developments
- Contributing to investment strategy, portfolio construction, and capital allocation decisions
- Evaluating investment proposals and assisting in transaction execution
- Preparing briefing materials and content for investment committees
- Leading or contributing to a cross-team initiative with clear impact
You’ll follow a development plan tailored to your strengths, with structured feedback and visibility across Swiss Re Asset Management
About the Team

As part of the FMP cohort, you’ll join a diverse community of high-potential analysts embedded across investment teams and reporting into the Head of the Programme. You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-energy environment that supports your growth and values your contribution.
We’re looking for the next generation of investment leaders – people who are:
- Curious and driven, with a strong desire to grow professionally and personally
- Hold a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline
- Have up to 3 years of experience, and a genuine interest in financial markets
- Strong in analytical thinking and comfortable working with complex data
- Clear and thoughtful communicators – with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive in contributing across team
- Professional, ethical, and detail-oriented — while keeping sight of the bigger picture
- Technically proficient: strong skills in MS Office required; experience with Bloomberg, Python, VBA, data visualization, or AI tools and applications is a plus
The base salary range for this position will be shared with you during the interview process.
