Investment Fund Lawyer Tax Strategies and Structuring

Developing tax strategies for private markets investment programs and creating optimal tax structures for fund investments / Developing product initiatives and product offering development in liquid investment solutions such as multi-asset class programs, listed private equity, infrastructure investment products and investments with above average income distributions in private debt, real estate / Optimizing distributions to investors / Supporting investment structuring through tax due diligence and establishment of various fund forms up to complex with cross-border structures / Giving advice for guiding fund managers in all investment activities, including minimizing tax risks and maximizing tax benefits / Conducting tax reviews of investment structures, mutual funds, certificates, client mandates, managed accounts etc. / Ongoing liaison with Relationship Managers, the teams of external service providers and specialists, investors and regulators / Responsible for liaising with tax authorities (worldwide) and regulators for tax returns, filings, documentation, reporting etc. / Responsible for monitoring regulatory framework, tax compliance and tax reporting requirements / Ensure ongoing communication internally and externally.

University degree / Business Administration, Law, LL.M. or Tax Expert / Professional experience in the fund industry, in asset management of a bank or in a leading law firm / Knowledge of fund products, launch of funds and life cycle of funds, fund regulation and cooperation with tax authorities and financial market authorities / Interested in fund regulation of international markets / Familiarity with US tax laws and regulations / Analytical, creative personality / Multitasking with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and in a timely manner / Strong interpersonal skills and interest in ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders / MS-Office skills / German as well as English.
