For a project at our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Java Developer.

You are keen on new technologies and enjoy developing Software that excites users and lets them enjoy the interaction between humans and machine. 

Your responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing and testing software solutions in the area of engineering, origination, marketing, lifecycle management and trading financial instruments
• Collaborating closely with the development teams, and business in an agile environment
• Reengineer the existing application to use best-practices architecture and design and bring in advanced technology
• Develop, scale, and control strategies, standards, guidelines, governance of Continuous Integration systems
• Improve CI/CD tools integration, and full pipeline automation
• Guaranteeing flawless application operation
• Taking on support tasks (2nd and 3rd level)

Your profil:

• Strong experience in Application Architecture and Design
• Excellence in Java development skills and frameworks: Java 17/21, Spring/Boot, Spring Data/JPA, Hibernate, OpenAPI/Swagger,SSE/WebSockets
• Experience with Microservices architecture and design
• Good understanding of messaging solutions like Apache Kafka and/or RabbitMQ
• Routine with OpenShift containerization, Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of distributed in-memory data grids and structures like Hazelcast or Redis
• Experience with data modelling and MS SQL DatabaseExperience with lifecycle management tools and IDE: Git, Maven/Gradle, GitHub/Actions, IntelliJ IDEA
• Nice to have: knowledge of Elasticsearch
• Fluent in English, German or others are a plus
