Lead Internal Auditor Private Banking

Aufgaben

Independent planning of audits, including setting the most important audit objectives, performing the audits, and documenting the findings in accordance with auditing standards and internal audit methodology within the specified time frame and budget / Analyzing the findings, including assessing their severity and the associated risks / Writing the audit report with concise, accurate descriptions of the deficiencies, including recording recommendations for optimized value creation processes / Depending on the significance of the results for the bank, they are presented to the head of internal audit or the audit committee / Follow-up and monitoring of the proposed process optimizations until the issue is resolved / Support the Head of Internal Audit in designing the annual plan based on the assessment of the risk landscape / Collaborating on improving audit methodology, incorporating innovative analysis techniques, and exchanging professional experiences with colleagues in the audit division to promote audit culture / Monitoring regulatory changes and internal developments at the bank / Providing support for specific audits, investigations, or ad hoc inquiries. / Collaborating in interdisciplinary teams to promote risk awareness, including training as needed / Travel: approx. 5%.

Qualifikation

Master's or Bachelor's degree / CPA, CIA / Experience in auditing or internal auditing at banks / Experience in planning and conducting audits in banking / Knowledge of audit processes, internal controls, resilience, risk management, compliance, or outsourcing with a focus on private banking / Knowledge of private banking and the processes within and between banks, counterparties, and service providers / In-depth knowledge of the regulatory requirements of an international bank / Personality with analytical, independent thinking and team orientation / Structured, responsible way of working / Strong social and communication skills / Good command of audit tools and MS Office / German and English.
