Go-to-Market & Business Strategist
Über diesen Job
Intro
We are seeking a versatile and strategic Go-to-Market & Business Strategist to act as a true partner in shaping our company's commercial future. This is not a traditional sales or business role; it is a unique opportunity for an individual who thinks and acts like a founder, is comfortable with ambiguity, and is passionate about building a business from the ground up.
You will be the direct sparring partner for our CEO, helping test hypotheses and refine our direction. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will work to answer our most critical go-to-market questions and help us move from strategy to execution.
Tasks
- Shape and Execute GTM Strategy: Work collaboratively to define our go-to-market strategy, including identifying key client segments, assessing geographic expansion opportunities (e.g., Europe vs. global), and establishing our product's core positioning.
- Craft Compelling Narratives: Help refine product messaging and write persuasive narratives for one-pagers, investor updates, and customer-facing materials.
- Synthesize Customer Insights: Join early customer and partner conversations to listen, capture, and synthesize valuable insights that will directly inform our strategy and product roadmap.
- Act as a Thought Partner: Bring a structured, analytical mindset to unstructured problems, helping to clarify big decisions and define our path forward.
- Drive Iteration: Help create and refine our core materials as we learn from the market and gain a deeper understanding of our customers' needs.
Requirements
- A strategic thinker with the ability to quickly absorb complex information and translate it into actionable plans.
- Comfortable with the ambiguity and hands-on nature of an early-stage startup.
- An excellent communicator, with strong written and verbal skills.
- A self-starter who brings structure and clarity to problems and is driven by a desire to build something that matters.
- Experience bringing a new product to life, and supporting entry into new regions or verticals
- Note: A traditional sales background is not required. We are looking for a strategic business partner, not a salesperson.
Benefits
- Commitment: Flexible, from 50% to 100% FTE.
- Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience. Potential for becoming a founder with founding shares.
- Location: Flexible/hybrid: minimal 1 day per week in Zurich office
