C# .NET Software Developer – 12 Month Contract – Switzerland – Home Office

Remote / Switzerland

We are currently supporting a leading organisation in the MedTech industry with a new contract opportunity. This client has offices in Zurich but can offer 3-4 working from home days per week. This role is initially for 12 months with the possibility of extension.

General conditions:

• Start Date: Mid November
• End Date: December 31 ^st 2026
• Extension: Possible extension for a further 12 months
• Hourly Rate: To be discussed (depends on experience)
• Location: Remote (with the option to visit a Zurich team if preferred)
• Home Office: 3-4 days home office per week is OK

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Debug and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience with C# and .NET (Core or Framework).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Blazor) is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
