The Role

Oracle Fusion Technical Director is the senior-most technical authority for Oracle Fusion Cloud and connected systems across EF. You own the technical architecture, design integrity, integration strategy, security model, and platform sustainability for Oracle ERP, HCM, and EPM solutions.

You are the technical decision-maker on how Oracle Fusion is implemented—ensuring EF adopts Oracle best practices wherever possible without modification, while approving controlled technical tailoring only where EF’s legal, regulatory, or operational requirements demand it.

Partner closely with Transformation Lead, Global Process/Solution Owners of each Oracle implementation workstream and all business leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Fusion Technical Architecture & Governance

- Own the end-to-end technical architecture for Oracle Fusion and EPM.

- Define & enforce technical standards, design patterns, integration principles.

- Lead EF decision making on:

-- Standard Oracle Fusion configurations

-- Extensions, integrations, and controlled customizations

- Ensure system designs remain upgrade-safe, scalable, and secure.

ERP, HCM & EPM Technical Delivery

- Lead the technical implementation of Oracle Fusion Financials, Procurement, Expenses, HCM, etc.

- Partner with the lead of Oracle EPM Planning, Forecasting, and Financial Close

- Design and govern solutions supporting complex legal entity structures, restructurings, mergers, and divestitures.

- Structure and ensure accurate data flows: Oracle & external systems.

Integrations, Data & Security

- Own integration architecture

- Define data governance, master data strategy, reporting consistency

- Ensure role-based security, segregation of duties, compliance.

Technical Partner & Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor Oracle Fusion technical leads.

- Manage system integrators & support from Oracle technical teams.

- Serve as escalation point for all technical and performance risks /issues and performance issues.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

- 15+ years in enterprise systems architecture and delivery.

- 8+ years of deep hands-on Oracle Fusion technical leadership.

- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Fusion architecture, security, integrations, and extensibility.

- Proven experience supporting complex legal entity structures and restructuring scenarios.

- Strong understanding of Oracle ERP technical integration with EPM.

- Ability to balance Oracle standardization with EF’s strategic business needs.
