Project Overview
Emerging evidence suggests that the lymphatic vascular system plays a critical role in neurophysiology and neurodegeneration. This interdisciplinary project aims to unravel how age-related changes in lymphatic function influence brain health, cognition, and the development of neurological disorders. By combining state-of-the-art techniques in molecular biology, neuroimaging, and vascular biology, we aim to uncover fundamental mechanisms that may inform new therapeutic strategies.

- Conduct experimental work involving in vivo models, immunohistochemistry, and molecular analysis
- Analyze data from imaging, gene expression, and functional assays
- Collaborate with clinicians, neuroscientists, and vascular biologists within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team
- Present findings at conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Complete doctoral studies at the University of Zurich
Your Profile
- Master's degree in biology, neuroscience, biomedicine, or a related field
- Strong interest in vascular biology, neuroscience, or aging research
- Previous laboratory experience in cellular or animal models is highly desirable
- Excellent written and spoken English; German is an asset but not required
- Motivation, curiosity, flexibility and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
