The Global Products and Solutions (GPS) division is at the heart of Julius Baer’s commitment to putting our Clients first. Our goal is to make it easier, in collaboration with CIO Office and Credit, for our Clients and colleagues to work together and make informed decisions about their wealth, by providing them with the right tools and support.As a key enabler of the GPS platform transformation journey, the GPS Platform Transformation PMO provides strategic and operational support to ensure the disciplined execution of change initiatives across GPS Platform Transformation. Sitting at the heart of the OVS (Operating Value Stream), this role is critical for preparing executive-level reporting, managing financials across the organisation, supporting project work and governance forums, and driving agile ways of working across delivery teams. The ideal candidate is analytically sharp and confident in engaging with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, global environment.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Act in the role as PMO to oversee and manage a portfolio of Change the Bank (CtB) initiatives / projects, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of each project's progress and dependencies.
Monitor progress against key milestones, KPIs, and resource plans across the GPS Platform Transformation portfolio.
Maintain core delivery artefacts, including roadmaps, RAID logs, and interdependency trackers to ensure execution transparency.
Manage monthly financial planning and control for the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting, to ensure effective use of resources and alignment with business objectives and transformation roadmaps.
Provide governance by overseeing financial administration, including invoice management and accrual processing, to support accurate accounting and financial reporting.
Support facilitation of agile ceremonies incl. PI Planning, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) etc., project meetings, and cross-functional working groups across GPS Platform Transformation and Technology.
Ensure alignment and coordination with the central Transformation Office and other value streams on bank-wide change initiatives.
Promote consistent delivery standards, a culture of accountability, and continuous improvement across the transformation stream.
Enhance PMO tools, templates, and reporting processes to reflect agile delivery practices and improve portfolio transparency.
Produce high-quality reporting materials for senior leadership and external stakeholders (e.g. regulators, auditors).
YOUR PROFILE
5+ years of experience in PMO, change management, or business management roles within a global financial institution or large-scale transformation environment.
Strong analytical, planning, and financial management skills, with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews for transformation portfolios.
Proven ability to prepare and critique executive-level materials for senior leadership.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively, and build relationships across functions and hierarchies.
Solid understanding of agile delivery frameworks, particularly SAFe; relevant certification is a strong plus.
Proficient in PMO tools and platforms, including PowerPoint, Excel, JIRA, Confluence, and Tableau.
