Responsible for supporting and executing the financial operations, contributing to the accuracy of financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes through sound analysis. You will mostly partake in regulatory reporting operations, as well as have project tasks.YOUR CHALLENGE
Regulatory Reporting Operations (approx. 80%)
Functional responsibility for the monthly preparation of regulatory reports for Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. and Julius Baer Group Ltd.
Collaboration in performing reconciliations and quality checks of the monthly financial data submitted to SNB and FINMA, including capital adequacy and liquidity calculations
Prepare ad hoc analyses and special reports, including narrative commentary
Support the preparation of the annual Basel III Pillar 3 disclosures reports
Comprehensive documentation of closing processes, primarily in English
Provide specialist Regulatory Reporting support to international locations worldwide
Ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls
Project Tasks (approx. 20%)
Supporting functional specifications and test executions of functional and technical adaptations in the Regulatory Reporting application (Axiom)
Represent Regulatory Reporting as a business partner in various IT projects and during the introduction of new banking products
Support the implementation of new regulatory requirements in respect of SNB statistical reporting, capital adequacy, and liquidity reporting
Analyse and continuously optimise existing processes
YOUR PROFILE
Higher financial or business administration education
Several years of professional experience in bank accounting is essential
Previous project experience in financial accounting, especially in the Regulatory area, is advantageous
In-depth understanding of IFRS and RVI (Swiss Banking GAAP)
Competent in Basel III capital and liquidity (LCR, NSFR) frameworks
Demonstrated experience in the business implementation of new banking products
Proficiency in MS Office, experience with AxiomSL is highly beneficial
Very good English language skills, both written and spoken. Fluency in German is an advantage
Strong analytical skills, with an independent, precise working style
Team-oriented personality with a genuine interest in taking on new challenges
