As Securities Accounting Specialist - Financial Assets and Trading Book, you will contribute to the assessment and definition of accounting requirements for new banking products from a Financial Accounting perspective, in accordance with local standards and IFRS, including the development of corresponding booking logics, as well as actively support and represent Securities Accounting in ongoing projects, particularly during the core banking system replacement.YOUR CHALLENGE
Contribute to the assessment and definition of accounting requirements for new banking products from a Financial Accounting perspective, in accordance with local standards and IFRS, including the development of corresponding booking logics
Actively support and represent Securities Accounting in ongoing projects, particularly with respect to core banking and to trading infrastructure
Share responsibility for the implementation of newly introduced accounting-relevant regulations
Actively assist in the operational management of Securities Accounting and in preparing the relevant reports for the annual report under local standards and IFRS
Analyse, specify, and continuously optimise existing business processes
Conduct employee trainings and prepare user documentation, primarily in English
Provide specialist Financial Accounting support to the international locations worldwide
Ensure continued compliance with internal controls and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
YOUR PROFILE
Education in finance or business administration
Several years of professional experience in securities accounting
In-depth knowledge of banking products, particularly in the area of securities essential
Proven experience with T24 or comparable core banking systems essential
Solid understanding of IFRS and RVI (Swiss Banking GAAP) is beneficial
Demonstrated project experience in SAP and practical use of SAP are beneficial
Project experience with SAP, including practical application of SAP systems are beneficial
Proficient in MS Office applications
Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in German is an advantage
Strong analytical skills, combined with an independent and exact work approach
Resilient under pressure and highly flexible
