1 year of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.

Experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.
- Experience with hardware or firmware security.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Hardware System Architecture.
- Understanding of both offensive and defensive security methods.
- Ability to influence others without authority.

Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

Identify security issues and implement and design security controls, tools, and services to improve security systems and processes.
- Scope out and identify business critical hardware/firmware devices within Cloud for team pentest/review.
- Collaborate across immediate team and product teams to help hardware/firmware devices for pen test/review and investigation.
- Develop, create and drive automated hardware fuzzing for devices.
- Partner and collaborate with device vendors via regular meetings and emails in order to advocate for necessary design changes to hardware and firmware for permanent improvements.
