What would your role be?

• Take responsibility for the analysis, structuring and underwriting of mortgages including gathering the right information to make sound and fact based decisions and therewith support the qualitative growth of the mortgage book
• Provide solutions and risk-oriented support in structuring mortgages, pro-actively working with your stakeholders in the front organization and the 2nd Line of Defense, ensuring risk appropriate solutions.
• Support the implementation of the mortgage strategy and attend related projects and initiatives as special matter expert
• Help in developing and improving our credit processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness

What are we looking for?

• University degree in Banking & Finance or equivalent higher education
• At least 10+ years of proven experience in the financial industry, and in a credit underwriting function
• Excellent understanding and advanced knowledge of mortgage business, end-to-end process and the Swiss real estate market
• Strong analytical and structuring skills, combined with a "can-do” attitude, an ability to judge risks independently and enable business thanks to also a strong client and service-focus
• Strong negotiation and communication skills in German and English (French would be an additional asset), combined with the ability to develop and maintain a professional stakeholder management
