To strengthen our Enterprise Architecture & IT Solution Design team, we are looking for a highly qualified and motivated personality in Zurich - to start immediately or as agreed.

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with subject matter experts, product managers, solution architects, engineering teams, and stakeholders from partner banks. Your primary responsibility is to lead and structure comprehensive business and requirements analysis, ensuring that all business objectives are accurately translated into actionable system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements analysis throughout the project lifecycle and create high-quality artifacts including Business Requirement Documents (BSDs), User Stories, and Use Cases.
• Support decision makers by analyzing the organizational, financial, and compliance impact of new ideas to build solid hypotheses for sustainable solutions.
• Visualize complex workflows using BPMN 2.0, UML, and ERM to ensure clarity across departments.
• Navigate a hybrid environment, adapting to our agile collaboration model (SAFe) for internal products and waterfall for external partner integrations.
• Mentor the organization on professional business analysis standards and push for higher quality in requirements gathering.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver holistic solutions, resolving requirement conflicts and bridging the gap between Business and IT stakeholders.
• Define clear success criteria and perform pre-validation testing to ensure that solutions meet agreed functional and non-functional requirements.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Requirements Engineering. Certifications such as IREB CPRE, IIBA CBAP, TOGAF, or equivalent are a plus.
• Deep understanding of the Swiss payment industry is required (Issuing, Acquiring, Clearing, Settlement, KYC, Onboarding). Experience with core banking systems is a plus.
• Having a transformation mindset, you are not afraid to push back on stakeholders to clarify dependencies, yet you do so with empathy and diplomacy. You can explain complex technical constraints to non-technical audiences.
• You can read API documentation, understand system interfaces and write SQL queries.
• Fluent in German and English at presentation and negotiation levels, Italian is a plus.
